Equipment Engineer (m/f/d) – Start Date: January 2027 and later

As an Equipment Engineer, you play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing complex machinery that drives the production of advanced microchips. This role offers hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment. You will develop technical skills in diagnostics, trouble-shooting and equipment maintenance in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities
1. Maintain equipment performance in clean room environment for quality production.
2. Handling on-duty and fundamental alarm troubleshooting.
3. Installing/qualifying new tool sets according to planned schedule in a timely manner.
4. Finding root cause and solving critical equipment issues.
5. Improving tool uptime availability and driving defect reduction.
6. Identifying and pursuing opportunities for hardware capability enhancement.
7. Building defense/monitoring system to prevent equipment failure or performance lost.
8. Managing vendor relationships and being responsible for module liaison with facilities, vendor, and manufacturing shift personnel.
9. Scheduled night/evening shifts, weekend on-duty, and on-call in 24/7 high-volume manufacturing environment are required for business needs.

Job Qualifications
1. Legally eligible to work in Germany.
2. Available for on-the-job training in Taiwan for one year.
3. Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics Engineering, Material Engineering or equivalent field.
4. Fluent in English with good command of German.
5. Practical experience in a mechanical-related field.
6. Understanding of technical documentation and schematics.
7. Hands-on work attitude with an open mind-set.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Able to perform physical work on tools in a cleanroom environment.
10. Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.
