Job Description:
- Being strong together: You will collaborate with a joint team of algorithm/AI specialists and digital designers to work on an industry project
- Build a system: You integrate a microcontroller and accelerators into a system
- Hardware/Software Codesign: You will develop RTL for digital signal processing IP and develop embedded software
- Impactful evaluation: You assess the performance of hardware and software implementations based on criteria such as power, performance and area with the help of simulation
- Efficiency and acceleration: You find bottlenecks and improve hardware accelerators or DSPs by refining the microarchitecture
Your Profile:
- Study field: You are currently studying in a STEM (MINT) program, ideally Electrical Engineering, Computer Science
- Knowledge: You already have knowledge of signal processing and data analysis. You know the differences and trade-offs between hardware and software implementations and ideally have worked on hardware acceleration before
- Skills: You are familiar with an embedded programming language e. g. C, Assembly, and hardware description language preferably (System-)Verilog
- Way of working: You like to work methodical and structured way and are not afraid to propose changes
- Language skills: You are fluent in English, German is a plus
