HTW Dresden was founded in 1992. It’s the second largest university in the Saxon state capital. Our facilities comprise 8 faculties with around 170 professors, giving 5,000 students the chance to study subjects like civil engineering, geoinformation, electrical engineering, design, computer science / mathematics, farming / environment / chemistry, mechanical engineering and economics.
We also offer degree programmes that are unique to higher education in Saxony, such as agriculture, horticulture, environmental monitoring and geomatics. A range of diplomas, bachelor’s and master’s degrees can be obtained across 40 future-oriented programmes.
