Data Analyst Internship (OPEDDA1902)
This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic data analyst, with a strong interest in financial services, to gain an invaluable experience within one of the UK’s largest financial advice networks. Mentored throughout, you will work to provide the company with access to data required for performance assessment and the ability to make educated business decisions, as well as reporting trends and performance data to gauge progress and manage issues arising. Working for one of the largest financial players, where ESPA has placed several interns, this will be a great experience for both personal and professional development and a great addition to your CV.
Tasks:
Understanding customers‘ needs and identifying business analysis trends
Analyzing and manipulating large data sets
Providing management information analysis to customers
Building predictive models using Python
Supporting teams/departments with their reporting requirements
Skills:
Background in data analysis, data science, economics, math or computer science
Knowledge of Python and SQL required
Experience machine learning models
Awareness of cloud technology
Power Bi, Tableau, or similar visualization tools – bonus but not essential
Numerate, investigative and with an interest in financial products and services
Experience of a customer focused, process and data driven environment
Good eye for detail; able to work in a timely, accurate manner and team player
