Internship: Digital Design (f/m/div)

Job description.

  • Microarchitecture Definition: You work with IP Architects to define the microarchitecture of digital modules based on IP specifications
    RTL Coding: You implement complex digital blocks in Verilog and/or SystemVerilog
  • Functional Verification: You develop block-level test cases and run simulations to debug/fix RTL issues
  • Digital Development Flow: You perform lint, CDC checks, gate level simulation, DFT checks, and write timing constraints
  • Design Optimization: You run synthesis and power estimation to optimize RTL for better PPA (Power Performance Area)
  • Meta-Modelling: You design meta-modelling infrastructure, including the creation of UML diagrams for communication protocols
  • Teamwork is Dreamwork: You work closely with different design and verification teams to provide support on various projects

Your profile:

  • Study field: You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
  • Digital Electronics: You have good theoretical knowledge in digital electronics though successfully completed courses/projects in microelectronic circuits and VLSI design
  • RTL experience: You already gained practical experience in RTL development using Verilog or SystemVerilog
  • Digital Flow knowledge: You have a basic understanding of digital design flow including logic synthesis, CDC and DFT as a plus
    Unix experience: You possess basic experience with Unix commands and scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python)
  • Soft skills: You are able to collaborate with international teams and learn independently, which is the basis for your continuous growth in a dynamic and distributed team environment
  • Language skills: You have fluent English skills, written and verbal
