Internship: AI/ML Infrastructure Development for Hardware Design Verification (w/m/div)

Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Generative AI (GenAI), has recently emerged as a promising area for productivity improvements. Infineon is one of the pioneers in developing and applying recent AI-based methodologies in its product development cycle. AI-based techniques are used to reduce verification efforts, particularly in digital functional verification. This internship is focused on developing an infrastructure to support AI/ML-based development within the digital functional verification group.

Job Description
Experience research: You do literature research on existing solutions and state-of-the-art infrastructure support for AI-based techniques
Holistic overview: You support the UX/UI development for our internal AI-based flow
Keep up to date: You are responsible for the automation of the AI-based workflow for company-wide adoption
Data is everything: You evaluate AI-based EDA tools in digital functional verification
Reliable work: You support in daily tasks for ongoing projects

Your Profile
Study field: You are currently enrolled in a master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or similar with excellent results
Interest: You have high interest in innovation and research
Experiences: You have experience with verification methodologies such as formal verification and UVM
You ideally already gained experience with formal and simulation tools
Skills: You have excellent programming skills (JavaScript, Python, OOP concepts are mandatory) with knowledge in AI/ML techniques
Language knowledge: You are fluent in English
